My Story
I was 31 when I learned my dad had terminal pancreatic cancer. We lost him that same year. Five years later, my mom was diagnosed with terminal blood cancer, and just nine months later, she was gone too.
When planning her memorial, I realized I didn’t have a single video of either of them—just my mom’s voice on a tiny recorder and a partially filled-out "Grandma" book. Oh no there are so many questions I forgot to ask, I thought. That moment changed everything.
I knew I had to make sure others wouldn’t experience the same regret. It took many years for the plan to come together but in 2024 Life Story Interviews was born.
I’m Kristen Potter, founder of Life Story Interviews. I would love to help you tell your story in your own words—on video, in the comfort of your own home.
